Harold “Lee” Wallace

Harold “Lee” Wallace, 80, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on July 10. He was born April 17, 1931.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Margaret Ferguson Wallace; his daughters, Peggy Springer; Carla Carroum and husband, David; son, Tim Wallace; grandchildren, Lauren Renee Springer, Lauren LeeAnn Miller and husband, Jason, Andrew Springer and the late Alex Mathews; nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, and friends.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. He also served in the USMC Reserve and U.S. Air Force Reserve. He was awarded a “Bravery Citation” former Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton. He enjoyed flying in his private plane, gardening, being an electrician, homebuilder and sportsman. He was owner of University Motors Dealership for 40 years and retired in 2004. He was a singer/musician/manager of the “Good Ole Boys Band.” He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, with burial to follow at noon at Mulberry Cemetery in England.
Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., today at the funeral home.
