Heze Eugene Carlton

Heze Eugene Carlton, 92, of Hensley, passed away Friday, Nov. 18.  He was born Feb. 14, 1919, in Sutton. 
Mr. Carlton was a World War II Army-Air Force veteran and worked at Reynolds Metals for 30 years. He was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Maude Carlton; and his wife, Euna Bea Lee Carlton.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Carlton and Jim Carlton; a daughter, Joann Hollenberger; a brother, Gaylord Carlton; a sister, Ruby Shellnut; six grandchildren, Bob, James and Jeff Mitchell and Todd, Steven and Laura Carlton; and three great-grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell and Austin and Blain Carlton.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Salem Cemetery in East End with the Rev. Ron Sanders officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 21, at Ashby Funeral Home.
