Jack L. Hill

Jack L. Hill, 73, of Benton passed away on Sept. 1, with his loving family by his side.
He was born Dec. 21, 1938, to the late Lilburn and Sybil Hill in Paron.
Jack retired from Cranford Construction after 44 years.  He loved to hunt and watch western movies.  Jack was a people person who enjoyed talking and visiting with friends and family.  One of his greatest joys in life was to tell stories from his past.
He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronnie Baugh; and a brother, Sharon Cleghorn.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lena Hill; a daughter, Roberta Hill; three sons, Ken Hill and wife Nancy, Johnny L. Hill and wife Sylvana and Wayne Baugh and wife Christena; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; five sisters; five brothers and many nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Burial will follow at Fowler Cemetery in Paron.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 4, at the funeral home.
