James Franklin Hendricks

James Franklin Hendricks, 77, of Benton passed away on June 17 with his family by his side.
Frank was born Aug. 30, 1934, to the late Jim and Ruby Hendricks in Bradford.  He was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church for more than 20 years.  Frank had a passion for going on rock building missions where they would build churches.  He loved to hunt, fish, woodworking and working in his garden.  Mr. Hendricks retired after 24 years from IBM.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lucy; one daughter, Debbie Huddleston and husband Tim; one son, Doug Hendricks and wife Wendy; five grandchildren, Kristan, Layne, Luke, Dalton and McKenzy; one sister, Sharon Mauldin and husband John; his mother-in-law, Marnette Cary; his brother-in-law, Bob Cary and wife Ann; his sister-in-law, Charlotte Bornemeier and husband John; and many nieces, nephews and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Indian Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the funeral home.
