James O. Willis

James O. Willis, 84, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 6.  He was born July 24, 1927, in Saline County to the late Charles and Izoria Willis. 
James was a truck driver and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Willis;a and sister, Lillian Porter. 
He is survived by his brother, Clyde O’Dell Willis of New Iberia, La.; his sisters, Etta Moody of Lonoke and Billie Thorne of North Little Rock; and the extended family of Brother Randy Ward and wife Rita, and his granddaughter, Olivia Ward.
Graveside services is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Sharon Cemetery with Brother Randy Ward officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Harold Beckwith, Charles Doughty, Ken Honeysuckle, Ralph Warren, Heath Ward, and Kyle Ward.
