J.C. Wells

J.C. Wells, 81, of Bryant passed away Friday, Dec. 30, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock.
J.C. was born in Morrilton on Aug. 10, 1930, the son of Ruby Lesslie and Jessie Ina Wells.  He worked as a concrete finisher and owned Collegeville Station for several years. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; four brothers; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He and his wife, Helen Abney Wells, were married for 61 years.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Marilyn Coursey of Bryant; a son, Paul and wife Aneida of Alexander; a daughter, Ina McCollum of Benton; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Wells Mobley of Searcy; and extended family members and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A private funeral service is planned.

Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
