Jeanne Claire McLeroy Kelley

Jeanne Claire McLeroy Kelley, 80, passed away Monday, Dec.19. She was born July 11, 1931 in Yonkers, New York. Jeanne was a retired Certified Nurses Assistant, Member and Past Secretary of Woodman Of The World Lodge #168 of Benton and a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Traskwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Fern Besacon McLeroy.  
She is survived by her husband, Virgil Howard Kelley of Benton; son, Alvie Tuggle Jr. of Greenbrier; daughters, Maleta Pitts of Traskwood and Shirley Strange of Prosper, Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Traskwood Cemetery. Minister will be Bro. James Floyd.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec 26.
