Jennifer Dillard Laurent

Jennifer Dillard Laurent, 42, a loving wife, mom and daughter, a faithful friend and dedicated teacher of 13 years, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17. Jennifer was born on May 11, 1970, in Memphis, Tenn., to John and Judy Dillard. She graduated from Mountain Home High School, in the class of 1988. She received her bachelor's of science degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, her teacher’s certificate from Texas Women’s University, and her master's degree from Arkansas State University.
Jennifer is survived and remembered by her husband of 19 years, Duane; her two children, Zoe and Alivia; her parents, John and Judy Dillard; her sister, Angela Spear, husband Randy and their children, Gracie and Abby Kirkland and husband Terry Lee; her brother, Brad Dillard and wife Sue and their children, Grady and Everett; and her grandmother MaMa Bea.
Jennifer will be missed by her many students, fellow teachers, friends and family.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at First Baptist Church in Benton. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, before the service. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock.
