Jerry Lynn Thomason, 65, of Traskwood passed away on July 22, with his family by his side. 
Jerry was born on May 18, 1947 to Cleo and Mary Thomason in Benton. He was very outgoing and loved putting his cars in antique car shows, fishing, playing music and shooting guns. Jerry retired from Benton Service Center after 17 years as a fireman. His favorite times were spent with his family and friends. He was of Baptist faith.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Cleo Thomason; grandson, Patrick Hilborn and grandmother, Willie B. Smith.
He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Thomason; daughter, Lisa Byers; son, Ronald Thomason; granddaughter, Cassie Byers; sister, Janet Leible and husband, Allen; loving companion, Jewel Davis and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 25, at 10 a.m. at Watson Cemetery in Tinsman. Pallbearers will be Ralph Melton, Don Gentry, David Ray, Bob Hale, Glen Bowen and Billy Hale. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Dewiggins, Danny Wilson and Hitler Wilson. 
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
