Jim Lampkin

Jim Lampkin, 78, of Mabelvale passed away on Nov. 30, 2013, with his family by his side. He was born Feb. 25, 1935, to the late Perry and Ila Lampkin in Danville, Ark.
Jim enjoyed fishing, going to the lake with family and was always trying to find a good bargain. He retired after 20 years from Kellwood and then was the owner and operator of Midtown Billiards in Little Rock.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Billie Metzger.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cecelia Lampkin; a daughter, Marilyn Turnbow (Scott); three sisters, Velda Hudgens, Lavern Ball and Brenda Smith; a brother, Darrell Lampkin; 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends, all of whom oved him and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Burial will follow at Cameron Cemetery.
