John William (Bill) Burrow Sr., 84, of Benton passed away March 1, 2014. He was born Sept. 16, 1929, in Benton.
Bill was a retired lab supervisor for Alcoa, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Tyndall Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Maynard Burrow and Alice Elizabeth Keene Burrow; two daughters, Connie Dyer Baxley and Cathy White Harris; five brothers, Robert, Sammie, Clennon, Royce and Rex Burrow; and five sisters, Mae Perry, Jimmie Hamilton, Mildred Parnell, Marilyn Bodenstedt and Charlene Loucks.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Burrow of Benton; a son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Carol Burrow of Benton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Allen Lancaster of Benton and Barbara and Ward Padgett of Malvern; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Dicicco of Benton and Joyce and Weldon Pickens of Lubbock, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Burrow, Clint Burrow, Rusty Davis, Steve Dicicco, Bobby Theel and Austin Dyer.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Ashby Funeral Home.
