Josephine Ann "Josie" Gillen

Josephine Ann "Josie" Gillen, 80, formerly of Benton, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 17, in Austin, Texas. She was born in Benton on Oct. 10, 1931, to Norma Styers Overton.
Josie was a loving mother and devoted to her family. She will be dearly missed by all blessed to have had her in their life.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her aunt and uncle, Doris "Sissy" and L.J. "Buster" White; another uncle, W. J. "Bill" Styers; and her grandparents, W.J. and Josephine Styers.  
Josie is survived by her sons, Michael Gillen, Edward Gillen II and wife, Josephine Downer, all of Austin,Texas; a daughter, Terry Sanchez and husband Antonio of Golden, Colo.; the father of her children, Edward "Red" Gillen of Rockport, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Maria "Lulu" Hammond of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Zalla and husband Joseph of Salt Lake City,Utah, Alejandro and Angelina Sanchez of Golden, Colo., Jadyn and Chedayne Livingston of Austin ,Texas, and her companion of nine years, Donald Gianotti of Austin, Texas,
No service is planned. Cremation arrangements wee provided by Cook-Walden Capitol Parks Funeral Home of Pflugerville, Texas.
