Joyce 'Ann' Bodiford Burrus

Joyce “Ann” Bodiford Burrus, 68, of Benton passed away Monday, Feb. 18.  She was born May 7, 1944 in Monticello.
Mrs. Burrus was a homemaker and attended East Side Southern Baptist Church in Cave City. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vergue and Carrie Bodiford; her husband, Bruce Burrus; a son, John Burrus; and four brothers, David, Everett, Van and Bruce Bodiford.
 She is survived by her son, Eugene Burrus of Benton; four daughters, Regina Eckard of Cave City, Terry Costales of Guyman, Okla., Cathy Cook of Benton and Judy Baker of Traskwood; a brother, Brice Bodiford of Traskwood; a sister, Doris Smith of Glen Rose; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Social Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 19, at Ashby Funeral Home.
