Joyce Sluder

Joyce Sluder, 59, of Benton passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8. She was born Dec., 22, 1953 in Little Rock.
Joyce was a 1972 graduate of Benton High School. She was employed as a cashier at Razorback Car Wash for three years and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, where she was the pianist.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Juanita Chambers.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Sluder of Benton; a son, Alan Sluder of Austin, Texas; a brother, Orville Chambers Jr. of Beebe; two sisters, Barbara Cullum of Little Rock and Johnnie Mulligan of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Danny Johnson, Larry Burrow, Travis Kitchens, Donnie Khars, Eric Campbell and Denis Walpole.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home.
