June 19, 2014

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Saline County has landed a major country western music star as headliner for the club's annual "Night to be Great" banquet.

Justin Moore will be the main headliner for the club's event.

The banquet is a major fundraising event for the organization and is set for Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Benton Event Center.

Emmy Rogers, director of development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Saline County says a huge crowd is expected, but pointed out that tables and tickets will not be available to purchase until 8 a.m. on Aug. 1.

Moore is a native of Poyen and a Saline County resident. He was named Academy of Country Music's New Artist of the Year in 2014.

The award was the first for Moore after six years of hit singles, albums and concerts.
