Katherine Elizabeth 'Beth' Farnam

Katherine Elizabeth “Beth” Farnam, 40, of Benton, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on May 13.  She passed away at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
Beth was born Nov. 20, 1971, in Little Rock to Michael and Marilyn Cruce Pollock. She graduated from J.A. Fair High School in 1990. Beth was employed as an administrative assistant for Dillards for the last 18 years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going to the lake, beach, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Beth was a strong and positive person who never complained about her condition. Her time here was a blessing to everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Pollock.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Farnam; a daughter, Paige Farnam of Benton; her mother, Marilyn Nuckols and husband Virgil of Little Rock; a brother, Brett Pollock and wife Melissa of Benton; and her grandfather, C.B. Pollock.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Patton officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 18, at her home, 3780 Steel Bridge Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Arkansas Hospice.
