Katherine L. Petty, 64, of Tull, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011.  She was born Dec. 25, 1946, in Tull. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Woodrow Scudder, Sr. and Evelyn Doris Scudder and two sisters, Mary Evelyn Meyer and Virginia Dale King.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Petty; son, Nathan Petty; daughter, Rayne Phillips all of Benton; two brothers, Robert Leonard Scudder and Herbert Woodrow Scudder, Jr. both of Tull; sister, Sally Penix of Sardis; three grandchildren, Alison, Madison and Dawson  Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bauxite.
The family will be at 8715 Willow St. in Benton.
