Kelly Thomas Black

April 10, 2013

Kelly Thomas Black, 48, of Benton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013.
She was born Dec. 26, 1964, in Lynnville, Ky.  She was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and worked for Arkansas Women’s Group.
We will all remember Kelly's genuine spirit, her capacity to love everyone, her infectious laugh and that smile. She was an incredible mom, who would do anything for her girls. From weekend getaways with Marque to mother-daughter trips to the beach, it was a joy being around her because she was comfortable in her own skin and made no apologies for who she was. She was Papaw and Bobo's basketball playing, Kentucky-loving, little girl. Her essence was Jesus; she lived out His heart, and will be singing to Him, barefoot, for eternity
She is survived by her husband, Marque Black; daughters, Madeline and Abigail Coltharp; step-daughters, Cassie Black, Mollie Hill and husband, Chris and Hannah Black; parents, Bobbie and Ray Williams; brothers, Kenny Thomas and Stacy Williams and a sister-in-law, Stephanie Williams.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. A 2 p.m. graveside service is scheduled Wednesday, April 10, at Lynnville Baptist Church Cemetery in Lynnville, Ky.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
