Ladd Owens

Ladd Owens, 88, of Bauxite died Sunday, Jan. 27. He was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Plainview. Ladd was retired after 20 years at Alcoa as an oiler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louella Ladd Owens; son Gary Owens; two brothers; and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Owens of Bauxite; sons Jerry Owens and wife Faye of Hot Springs Village; Allen Dale Owens and wife Edna of Atkins; Timothy Ladd Owens and wife Kelli of Hope; daughter Muriel Koehn and husband Ron of Hot Springs Village; brother Jody Owens of Glen Rose; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Social Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Curtis Kyle officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, before the service.
