Larry Lain Crocker

Larry Lain Crocker, 74, of Benton passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born May 21, 1939 in Titusville, Pa., to the late William Lewis and LuClaire Hollabaugh Crocker.
Larry was a member of New Summitt Church of God and owner of Popplo’s Pizza.  He served 10 years with the U.S. Air Force.  Larry retired from a food management position with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Diane Sue Crocker; a daughter, Carla Hollinger; a brother, Bill Crocker; and a sister, Betty Akins.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Crocker of Benton; a son, Laine Crocker of Benton; a daughter, Stacey Watson (Wade) of Maryland, Dana Gross (Shawn) of Connecticut and Donna Beckwith (Mike) of Benton; four brothers, Rodney Crocker of Malvern and Curt Crocker, Don Crocker and Jack Crocker, all of Pennsylvania; a sister, Carla Tracey of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, at New Summitt Church of God with Pastor Bryan Hughes officiating Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Ashby Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at the funeral home.
