Larry M. Hughes

Larry M. Hughes, 67, of Bentonville passed away October 24, at Regency hospital of Springdale. He was born January 18, 1945 in Benton to Eric and Mary Bragg Hughes. After graduating from high school, Larry went into the police academy. He was a proud police officer for in Benton and then later for the city of Berryville. He retired from his position as a police officer at NWACC, after 12 years of service.  Larry was in avid reader, fisherman and hunter. He was a member at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Bentonville.
He was preceded in death by his son, Larry M. Hughes, Jr. his parents and one brother, Charles “Whitey” Hughes.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Judy Hughes of Bentonville, a daughter, Dawn Michelle Kaiser and husband, Larry of Bentonville; a brother Don Hughes and his wife, Margie of Benton; one grandson, James Logan Hughes McAlister of Rogers; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
