Lela B. Graddy, age 85, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014. She was born May 2, 1928 in Moreland, Ark.
Mrs. Graddy was a homemaker, a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and an avid Razorback fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Vera Bell; and two brothers, Wayne and Robert Bell.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas Ray Graddy of Benton; two daughters, Diane Prokos of Sanford, N.C., and Debbie Tully and husband James of Benton; a brother, David Bell of Charleston, S.C.; five sisters, Sue Curtis of Benton, Betty Lou Harrell of Malvern, Ann Nix of Benton, Linda Hill of Benton and Peggy Newsom of Benton; five grandchildren, Chris Shepard, Paul Shepard, Jon Shepard, Jill Hawkins and Julie Gunter; 10 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Steven, Ethan, Holden, Ashton, Tristan, Colin, Cole, Zoey and Mason; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at New Rosemont Cemetery.
