Lennis E. Watts

Lennis E. Watts, 94, of Benton passed away Tuesday, May 22.  She was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Benton. 
Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and the oldest member of Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Elizabeth Wise; her husband, John Allen Watts; and a daughter, Doris Keesee.
She is survived by four children, James Watts and wife June, Hazel Drennan and husband Gene, Ambrose Watts and wife Laurie, and Larry Watts and wife Pam; 15 grandchildren, Kathy Goff, Debbie Gibson, Kevin Drennan, Randy Keesee, Rusty Keesee, Bart Watts, Brett Watts, Derek Watts, Jason Watts, Denise Young, Wesley Locke, Jessica Hunt, Carol Childs, Linda Hyde and Wes Gardner; 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 25. at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Hyde officiating. Burial will follow at Old Rosemont Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church.
