Lester Riley Ruffin

Lester Riley Ruffin, 75, of Benton passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21. He was born Oct. 6, 1936, in DeWitt to the late Lester and Effie Ruffin.
Mr. Ruffin was a "Class A Machinist" and owner of Ruffin Mold and Machine in Benton, a U.S. Air Force veteran, where he served as an aircraft machinist.
He was a Christian. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamara Ruff; and a brother, Donald Lee Ruffin, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dixie Lee (Henderson) Ruffin; two daughters, Teresa Smith and Tara Fagan and husband Shelby, all of Benton; six grandchildren, Tiffany Smith of Little Rock, Hunter and Andrew Ruff, Emma, Anna and Sarah Fagan, all of Benton; two sisters, Patsy Brown and Mary Jack Adams, both of DeWitt; a son-in-law, Drew Ruff of Benton; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. 
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton with the Rev. Donald Lee Ruffin Jr. officiating. 
Roller-Ballard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Sheriff Youth Ranches, P.O. Box 3964, Batesville, AR 72503; or to a favorite charity.
