Linda Sue Thornbrugh

Linda Sue Thornbrugh, 65, of Alexander passed from this life on Dec. 16, 2013, with her family by her side. Linda was born April 7, 1948, in Little Rock to her parents, Alvin and Elsie Puckett.
She enjoyed her time reading, playing bingo and sewing and loved to make things for her friends and family. Her greatest love, however, was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife and mother.
Mrs. Thornbrugh was preceded in death by her father and two daughters. Patricia Diane Meeks and Margeret Bearden. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Williams.
Linda is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Thornbrugh along with her children, Nancy Puckett of Alexander, George Bearden of Wisconsin, and Melinda Lehman, also of Alexander. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leroy Lehman, Candace Ivy, James Bearden, Yalinda Alsup and Rita Lehman; and her great-grandchildren, Trey Ivy, Nevaeh Ivy, and Walker, Dominic and Courtney Alsup
A celebration of life will be held for Linda at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, 501-847-9099. Burial will follow at Butler Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the funeral home.
