Lois Johnson

Lois Johnson, 88, of Sardis passed away Sept. 29 in Bryant.  She was born Sept., 25, 1923 in Goodwin, to the late Sam and Jenetta (Dover) Jones. She was a member of the Benton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. 
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Johnson, in 2006; three sisters; and five brothers.
 She is survived by one son, J.D. Johnson and wife Vickie of Benton; one daughter, Jean Smith and husband Jack of Sardis; five grandchildren, Debra Hope and husband Bill of Benton, Kelly Smith and wife Kathy of Sardis, Danielle House of Sardis, Jennifer Mashburn and husband Jeff of Benton, and Jessica Cicero and husband Brad of Bryant; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patsy Howton of Van Buren; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton with David Howell and Gary Melton officiating.
