Lonoke County jail escape recaptured near Cabot

CABOT — Lonoke County authorities say an escape from the county jail has been recaptured near Cabot.

Lt. James Kulesa told reporters that authorities using search dogs recaptured 22-year-old Micah Lance Edwards Sunday afternoon in a wooded area along Arkansas Highway 236.

Edwards had disappeared from the Lonoke County jail about 7 p.m. Saturday. He was being held on misdemeanor charges from Ward and Springdale.
