LITTLE ROCK — Little Rock police say a young child was shot and faces a life-threatening injury.
The Wednesday afternoon incident happened at a home in the city's southwest where police say three children were home alone.

Investigators say it was unclear whether the child shot himself or if he was shot by another child.
Names were not immediately released and police couldn't immediately confirm the age of the wounded boy.
