Mackey Louis Spivey, 75, of Benton passed away Monday, Dec. 31. He was born Dec. 19, 1937. in Havana.
Mackey was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Alcoa after 30 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Audice Spivey and Mae Frazier Spivey; and two sisters, Laquita Scott Baxley and Bettye Brown Knopp.
He is survived by his wife, Ester Louise Terry Spivey of Benton; two sons James Russell Spivey and wife Margaret of Southhaven, Miss., and Michael Dewayne Spivey of Benton; his twin brother, Jack L. Spivey; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at New Rosemont Cemetery. 
Visitation is set from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Ashby Funeral Home.
