Maintenance work to require lane closure

April 9, 2013

Maintenance work on an Interstate 30 median wall will require a lane closure, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The work will require the westbound inside lane of Interstate 30 to be closed between mile markers 139 and 142. That’s located from just south of the I-30/I-630 interchange in Little Rock to just south of the I-30/I-40 interchange in North Little Rock. The closures will be Tuesday, April 9th through Wednesday, April 10th, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
Crews will be doing routine maintenance including general cleaning, weed eating, and drain clearing. This work can’t be accomplished under normal traffic conditions due to the lack of space between traffic lanes and the median wall.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel related information can be found at ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
