Our Angel, Makenzie Kaylee Flores, went to Heaven on Saturday, June 9, at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She was born October 2, 2002, in Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer Berry and Dimple Nicklaus, both of Benton; Robert and Anna Evans of Alexander; an uncle, Thomas Flores of Jacksonville; and great-uncles, Dan Evans and David Berry Sr..
She is survived by her parents, Tony and Kathy Flores of Benton; grandparents, Doug and Nancy Evans of Benton and Ruben and Patsy Flores of Jacksonville; a great-aunt, Peggy White and husband Jay of Red Oak, Texas; aunts and uncles, Kevin Evans and wife Brandi of Benton, Mark Flores and wife Sheila of Jacksonville, Kelly Flores of South Carolina, Jenley Williams and husband Joey of Jacksonville, and Crystal Flores of Jacksonville; many cousins and extended family.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Ashby Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 11, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
