A Saline County man has been charged with his fourth driving while intoxicated offense and his bond was set at $250,000.
On June 1, during a traffic stop, James Mickel Reep performed poorly on a field sobriety test and provided a breath sample of 0.26. He was booked into the Saline County Detention Center for driving while intoxicated, fourth offense, careless and prohibited driving and driving on a suspended driver’s license, said Saline County Prosecuting Attorney Ken Casady.
During a civil proceeding before Circut Judge Robert Herzfeld, Reep was questioned about being intoxicated based on his demeanor during his testimony.
At the time, he provided a 0.27 breath sample and he was booked into the Saline County Detention for driving while intoxicated, third offense, driving on suspended driver’s license and perjury.
Reep is scheduled to appear in court again on July 1 for both cases.
