Marie Wolf Simons

Marie Wolf Simons, 91, of Benton passed away on Nov. 24 after a short illness.
Marie was born Jan. 13, 1921, in Malvern.
She spent all of her adult life in Saline County and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years. Marie was an accomplished seamstress and worked several years performing alterations at The Fashion in Benton and also sewed for family and friends.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lindsey Schwanner; and her husbands, Woodrow Wolf and Gerald Simons.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Wolf of Benton; a son, Larry Wolf and wife Cherry Edmonson Wolf of Benton; three granddaughters, Melissa Lewis of Dallas, Rebecca Santamaria and husband Pablo of Dallas, and Laura Pritchard and husband John of Benton; a great-granddaughter, Paloma, and a great-grandson, Ryder, both of Benton.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Ashby Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the funeral home.
