Marjorie Ann Middleton, 79, of Benton passed away Sunday, July 8.
She was born in Hot Springs on Oct. 6, 1932, to the late Duffie Nixon Searcy and Ethyl Hortense Sanders Searcy.Â She was a homemaker, was a member of First United Methodist in Benton, and was known as â€śNanaâ€ť to her grandchildren.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bob Middleton; and one brother, Larry Searcy.
She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, William Robert Middleton; a son, Mark Searcy Middleton and wife Anita of San Antonio, Texas; s daughter, Cindy Middleton of Benton; three grandchildren, Matthew Middleton and wife Tiffany, Meredith Middleton Carriker and husband Matt, and Alexandra Middleton; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Jonah, and Liam Middleton and Adalyn Carriker; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at First United Methodist Church in Benton with the Rev. David Jones officiating.Â Graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Hot Springs.
Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Chastain, Kevin Chastain, Bud Busken, Steven Seals, Matt Middleton and Matt Carriker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
