Mark Bradley, 51, of Mayflower earned his angelâ€™s wings on April 27, 2014, the day a tornado ripped through his home, taking his life and the lives of so many others.
He was born Jan. 26, 1963, to Dorothy Sue Johnson and the late Mackey Gene Bradley.
Preceding him in death were his dad; his maternal grandparents, W.B. and Verna Johnson; his paternal grandmother, Louise (Bell) Bradley; and his brother, Justin Spears.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Christina Bradley; a son, Shawn Bradley (Hope); his mother, Dorothy Johnson; his grandchildren, Jaydon, Hannah, Trey, Shawn Jr., Brooke and Joshua; his siblings, Caroline Sue Robertson (Bradley) of Alexander, Debby Lee Hopkins (Bennie) of Maumelle, and James Lawrence Spears of Junction City, Kan.; his nieces, Katherin and Carrie Campbell, Savanna Spears and Hannah Henderson; his nephews, Jared Campbell, JKC Honor Hopkins, James Spears Jr. and Blake Allen Robertson; his special friends, Renee Harvison and Lisa Gagne; and many other relatives and friends.
Mark loved â€śThem Hogsâ€ť and his very special dog, Shieba. The family extends "a special shout-out" to the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Departmentâ€™s great group of guys he worked with for many years.
Funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Road), followed by burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Big Brother organization or to the Boys & Girls Club.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the funeral home.
