Marlin Ray Wright

Marlin Ray Wright, 67, of Cabot passed away Tuesday, July 24.  He was born April 7, 1945 in Bauxite.
Ray was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired Arkansas State Police trooper.  He was a member of the Arkansas Retired State Police Association and quietly donated to several charities. 
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Bertha Wright; two brothers, Joe Wayne and Ralph Wright; and three sisters, Shirley Bradley, Billie June Horvath and Juanita Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Wright; two daughters, Paula Wright and Sheryl Jackson and husband Steven; two brothers, Kay and Alfred Wright; and a sister-in-law, Jane Stewart.
Funeral will be at at 3 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home in Cabot. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or to a favorite charity.
