Mary F. Smith

Mary F. Smith, 70, of Haskell, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6.  She was born Aug. 27, 1941, in Humphrey, to the late P.A. and Jessie Capps.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eullie E. “Shorty” Smith. 
She is survived by six sons, Jerry McDuffie of Mountain Home; Rickey Smith of Haskell, Gary Smith and wife Connie of Haskell, Phillip Smith and wife Sherry of Traskwood, Chad Turner and wife Julie and Stacy Turner of Houston, Texas; four daughters, Mary Ann Smith of Mountain Home, Brenda Blacklock and husband Ty of Grand Junction, Colo., Gina Ramsey and husband Rocky of Benton and Tina Ballard and husband Ronnie of Haskell; three brothers, Tommy Capps of Haskell, Andrew Capps Jr. of Lonsdale and Johnny Capps of Oklahoma; two sisters, Bernice Trent of Oklahoma and Helen Taylor of Benton; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas McJunkin officiating. Burial will follow at Traskwood Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Ashby Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Roger Fagan, Danny Perkins, Johnny “Little John” Sellers, Rocky Ramsey Sr., Rocky Ramsey Jr. and Corey Pope.
Her brothers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
