Michael Ray Morrison

Michael Ray Morrison, 61, of Benton, died Friday, September 16, in Little Rock. He was born September 29, 1949 in Little Rock. Michael was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1968 to 1972. Michael was a member in good standing with the Heat and Frost Insulators, Local #10 for 31 years. He served in the capacity of Vice President, Executive Officer and on the Apprenticeship Committee.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Morrison and his brother, Richard Morrison.
He is survived by his mother, Earlene Morrison; wife Denise Morrison, one son, Benjamin Morrison and wife Tanya, two daughters, Susan Adams and husband Chris, Sarah Baker and husband Virgil, seven grandchildren, Caleb Floyd, Allaeina Adams, Evan Adams, Noah Adams, Makenzie “Toodles” Adams, Mitchell Baker, and Caleb Baker.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Brooks Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Ashby’s.
Pallbearers: William Ammons, Norman Cox, Alan Kelly, Shawn Lindsey, Chad Kitchens, Danny Kimbrough, Phillip Oliver, and James Steele.
