Mildred Marnell Cooper, 84, of Benton, died Friday, April 13, in Bryant. Mildred was an active member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Benton where she served in many organizations. She was a retired employee of the State of Arkansas Alexander Youth Services where she was a Dorm Mother for over 30 years.
She is survived by four sons: Charlie Noble Jr, Morgan G. Noble and Darrol Barnes all of Benton and James Ray Noble and wife, Venita of Malvern; four daughters: Mildred Nobles, Sondra Lyn Vance, Deborah Ann Barnes, all of Benton and Marilyn Annette Barnes of Midland, Texas; one sister Annie Bell Bell of Bakersfield, California; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 20, at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Benton.
Funeral services will be held 11a.m., Saturday, April 21, at Elect Temple Church Of God In Christ with Rev. Luther Green, Eulogist. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Benton.
