Noel Clinton Akins

Noel Clinton Akins of Benton passed away March 17, 2014. 
Born in Seattle, Wash., on May 3, 1958, Noel worked for the past 10 years at Metropolitan National Bank in Little Rock as an Internet banking specialist.
He demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a caring spirit with his customers and co-workers, always willing to patiently help them with his knowledge and expertise.
Noel went above and beyond, lending his passion for programming to community organizations such as Arkansas Commitment.
Noel enjoyed the guitar and photography and cared deeply about animals.
Noel was predeceased by his parents, James D. and Beulah Walls Akins; and his grandparents, Fred and Maude Akins and Samuel and Viola Walls, all of Saline County.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 15 at First Presbyterian Church of Argenta in downtown North Little Rock, 4th and Maple streets. This is planned as a time to gather in remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Humane Society of Saline County, P.O. Box 305, Benton, AR 72018.
Cremation arrangements are by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
