Olin O. (Fritz) Hester

Olin O. (Fritz) Hester, 89, of Alexander, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 23. He was born Aug. 28,1923, in Benton. Mr. Hester was a U.S. Army veteran, a mechanic and a 74-year member of Springhill Baptist Church. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Josie B. Hester; wife Bertha (Midge) Hester; and a son, Ronald Gene Hester.
He is survived by his son, Roger Hester; daughter Elizabeth Ann Pierce; five grandchildren, Dana Archer Moore, Steven Setta, Kristin Hester Jackson, Courtney Hester and Megan Hester; two great-grandsons, Noah and Elliot Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Springhill Baptist Church on Springhill Road.
