Oma E. Nix

Oma E. Nix, 86, of Benton passed away on Tuesday, June 5, at Saline Memorial Hospital.  She was born on December 1, 1925 in Emmet, to the late F. L. and Ora Mae Hathcoat McAdams. Mrs. Nix loved to work in her yard and raise vegetables and roses and loved helping people.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cleburne A. Nix; one son, David Nix; four brothers, Gilbert, Marshman, J.W., and Ervin McAdams, and one sister, Betty Lockard.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah K. Nix of Ashdown, special nephew, Jimmy McAdams of Ashdown, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Dr. Rick Grant  officiating.  Interment will follow in New Rosemont Memorial Park. 
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, June 7th at the funeral home.
