Parks department to host public hearing

June 26, 2014

The Benton parks and recreation department will conduct a public hearing at 6 p.m. today to get public input regarding improvements at Ralph Bunche Park.

Parks director John Eckart has stated that he wants to apply for grants to make improvements at the park but wants public opinion on what improvements should be made.

The hearing will take place at the Ralph Bunche Community Center.

An additional public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, in the council chambers at Benton Municipal Complex.

Community residents are encouraged to share their thoughts about improving the park.
