Paul McAdoo, 78, of Malvern, passed away Thursday, March 8 at Heartland Rehabilitation and Care Center of Benton. He was born January 31, 1934 in Pine Bluff and grew up in El Dorado and Traskwood. Paul’s second greatest passion in life was driving 18 wheelers across country, the first being his wife and family. Other great past times of his included fishing, hunting, John Deere tractors and visiting with friends-especially at the locals table at J.J.’s Truck Stop. He was a very out going person, never meeting a stranger and always left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife, Doris, they had 31 wonderful and fun filled years together. Paul has two daughters, Kay Alldredge and husband, Craig of Pocatello, Idaho and Pat Claxton and husband, Tim of Beebe, two step daughters, Jimi Guthrie and husband, Hans of Paulsbo, Washington, Terri Knight and husband, Dave of Sulton, Washington, eight grandchildren, Jeffery Samples and wife, Latreasa, Donny Samples and wife, Terri, Karla Riggan and husband, Brandon all of Benton, Tamara Claxton of Beebe, Echo Milanouk and husband, Matt, Casey Guthrie, Daren and Ryan Knight all of Washington, 15 great grandchildren.
Chapel services by Ashbys will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, with burial to follow at Graham Cemetery on Hwy 67.
Visitation at Ashby Funeral Home will be 2-5 p.m. on Sunday.
