Pauline “Polly” Evans

Pauline “Polly” Evans, 82, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.  She was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Tyronza to the late Jessie M. and Maud Lee Davidson Long. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Evans, who passed away in 1999; and one son, James D. Evans, who passed away in 2005.
She is survived by one son, Jamie Evans and wife Kimberly of Benton; one daughter, Elizabeth Evans of Little Rock; one sister, Lourine Prehn of Chicago; one brother, Kenneth Long and wife Etta of Benton; four grandchildren, Dalton Keys and Callie Jo Evans, both of Benton, and Hadden Evans and Noah Evans, both of Little Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at First Assembly of God in Benton with the Rev. Gene Huskey officiating.The church will provide a dinner from 6 to 6:45 P.M. Thursday. Cremation arrangements were provided by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
