Phyllis Scott

Phyllis Scott, 90, of Alexander, passed away Friday, May 18.  She was born August 30, 1921 in Bemidji, Minnesota.  Mrs. Scott was a retired bookkeeper, a member of Pleasant Hills Methodist Church and a longtime resident at Lake Norrell.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Esther Lines; husband, Samuel Scott and a son, Vernon Lee Scott.
She is survived by two sons, Steven and Arthur Scott; four daughters, Patricia Scott, Sara Scott, Martha Bowling and husband, David and Rosemary Billy; sister, Althea Volbrech; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 21 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. 
Pallbearers will be Carl Newcomb, Paul Newcomb, Chris Bowling, Jason Scott, Keith Scott and William Woodell.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 20 at Ashby Funeral Home.
