Police release more images of female suspect

June 19, 2014

Benton Police Department continues to seek help from the public in locating two people accused of robbing a Benton bank earlier this week.

The department has received some tips, but the suspects have not been located, said Lt. Kevin Russell, Benton Police Department spokesperson.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken Monday during the robbery at Malvern National Bank on Military Road.

The two suspects fled the area before officers arrived, Russell said.

One was described as a white man wearing a mask that resembled the "Mario Brothers" video game character, and the other was said to be a white woman wearing dark-colored sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 501-778-1171 or 501-315-TIPS.
