Predicted rain might not cool down weather

July 19, 2013

Although rain is predicted for this weekend, it won't likely cool temperatures down much, according to the National Weather Service.
In fact, Saline is one of 45 counties the NWS is warning will experience uncomfortable high temperatures from now at least until Tuesday.
High temperatures combined with a humid air mass will push the heat index up to about 100 degrees each afternoon, according to the NWS.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms also are expected through the period.
