Raymond L. Champagne

Raymond L. Champagne, 68, of Benton died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014.  He was born November 27, 1945 in Thief River Falls, MN to the late Frank and Selma Champagne and was a machine operator.  Raymond enjoyed bowling and participated in several leagues. 
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings; his brother Leroy Champagne of Benton and his sister Sylvia Murphy of Newburn, NC.
He is survived by a brother, Frank Champagne and wife Hazel of Benton and a sister, LeNora Stevenson of Benton.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Pastor Randy Roach of Calvary Assembly officiating. 
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (501-315-4047).
