Reedy Edward Harris, 100, of Bauxite, died Thursday October 25. He was born February 12, 1912 in Center Ridge. Mr. Harris was a retired millwright and a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Harris and Josephine Brinkley Harris, wife, Claudia Harris, son, Edward Leon Harris, three brothers, Arthur, Glen and Harold Harris.
He is survived by his brother, James Darrell Harris of Fordyce; three granddaughters, Debbie Goodwin and husband Jack, Lynn Brock and husband Eddie, and Pat Griffin and husband Terry, nine great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 29 at New Rosemont Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home. Minister will be Bro. Buddy Fowler.
Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, October 28 at Ashby’s.
